Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tripzey, a platform for pooling rides and hiring passenger and cargo vehicles. By using Tripzey, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. Drivers and vehicle owners must hold valid licenses, permits, and insurance required by applicable law.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.

3. Platform role

Tripzey facilitates connections between riders and vehicle owners/drivers. Unless expressly stated, Tripzey is not a transportation carrier and does not provide transportation services.

4. Trips, pricing, and payments

  • Pooling fares may be suggested by the app; final amounts may be agreed between parties where permitted by law.
  • Private/cargo hire quotes may be shown upfront or offered by vehicle owners.
  • Payments may be handled in cash or via supported digital methods. Availability varies by region.
  • You are responsible for taxes, tolls, and fees associated with your trips, where applicable.

5. Safety

Follow local laws, wear seatbelts/helmets as required, and use the app responsibly. Tripzey may offer features like profile verification, trip sharing, and ratings to enhance safety but cannot guarantee safety.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Tripzey for unlawful activities or to harm others.
  • Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Do not interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse engineer the app.
  • Share only content you have the right to share; do not post illegal, abusive, or infringing content.

7. Ratings and reviews

Ratings help maintain quality. You agree to provide honest feedback and refrain from manipulation or retaliation.

8. Intellectual property

Tripzey and its logos, trademarks, and content are owned by Tripzey or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-party services

Tripzey may integrate third-party services (e.g., maps, payments, communications). Their terms and privacy policies apply where you use them.

10. Disclaimers

Tripzey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tripzey shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tripzey from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for actual or suspected violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or risk to other users or the platform.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country/state of residence where Tripzey lawfully operates, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Tripzey after changes constitutes acceptance.
